This has always been one of my favorite times of the year. Turkey and stuffing aside, for me it’s a great day to really give thanks for all the blessings bestowed upon me. 
Whether my blessings have been small or great, many or few, I am equally grateful. My greatest blessing is to live in this Great Country of ours and the smallest is to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Have I received everything I’ve asked for? No! Am I going to get everything I ask for? Maybe not! Regardless of whether I do or I don’t—I am grateful to be alive and at least to be given opportunities and to give opportunities. I know that God has a plan for me and it’s a good plan. It’s a plan, which at times, I don’t understand but I keep faith in the power of “The Great Plan!”
Sometimes, I lose sight of The Plan and wonder—when, oh, when will it be time for God to reveal this Great Plan to me? Will it be this year or maybe next? I Shall Wait Patiently for the Lord.
